LISTEN TO YOUR BODY

Our body is one of nature’s greatest creations. Its celestial origins come from the galactic waves above us. We are all made out of stardust. Water is our main component and it comes from planet Earth within the interstellar clouds.

The human body is composed of 65% water. A newborn infant is composed of 75% water. The heart pumps blood continually all day to carry oxygenated blood throughout the body to sustain life - this is done without even thinking about it.

The human muscular system is made of a complex network of soft tissues, which helps us move and allows us to maintain upright posture.  The digestive system breaks down the food we eat into smaller units of nutrients and then reabsorbs them into the blood stream and fuels the body’s activity.

Your brain is the boss of your body and runs the whole show. Together the brain and the spinal cord form the central nervous system. It uses the information from your five senses (sight, smell, hearing, touch, taste) to remember and think and plan, and sends out the appropriate instructions to your body.

Yet we forget the wonders of our body - that it communicates with the brain and vice versa - it gives us signals when there is something wrong. Our body and mind interacts every second of every day. How can we tune into our body?

Here are some tips to be able to listen to your body.

Physical Aspect
When you feel pain in your stomach, head, or any other part of your system. Your body is talking to you. PAY ATTENTION. It doesn’t like something you ingested, or have done. Your body is giving you warning signs and if you keep it up your body will increase those signals until it can longer take it. Then your body will start to shut down.  MAKE A CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE!

Emotional Aspect
The mind is a powerful entity within us and is in sync with our body. The warning signs can be you feel tired all the time, low energy, unhappy, or even depressed. PAY ATTENTION. It might be your job, a relationship not going well, or something else.  Whatever it is you need to MAKE A CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE! Again, if you don’t listen your body it will start to shut down.

How does the body shut down?
Diseases, personality disorders and cancers.

We are bombarded with TV, Internet, and smart phones.  These all are great tools to use to get info fast but it takes away the ability to concentrate on our feelings and how to deal with our emotions. We loose our ability of our primal ancestors to follow our instinct, our intuition. Don’t fret - nothing is lost in today's society. We just need to embrace our emotions and listen carefully to our bodies, which is connected to our minds. It is complex, yet simple.  Once you tune in to your body your whole world changes for the best.
